About Me

SO, WHO AM I?

BiswaJeet DasMy name is Biswajeet Das; I’m a Digital Marketer, and since I have been blogging for more than 3 years you can say I’m a Blogger too.

By nature, I am an introvert. I like to observe things and am more of a focused listener than a talker.

I was born and brought up in Assam.

After my Graduation, I went to Mumbai to do a post-diploma in Information Security Management (similar to Cyber Security; if you’re wondering what that is); it was sort of a Scholarship.

I always had a thing for Computers, especially hacking and was actually looking for institutes to study Cyber Security at that time.

So, when I got that offer I didn’t think twice I just packed my bags and went to Mumbai.

After the Course, I decided to stay in Mumbai and gain some work experience before moving back home.

Long story short, I have lived in Mumbai for 8 long years.

Worked in the IT industry for almost 3 years. And then switched to Digital Marketing and worked there for another 3 years.

But, eventually, I realized I can’t be in a corporate job forever as I was feeling miserable there. I’m just not cut out for it.

So, I quit my job and moved back home.

WHAT DO I DO NOW?

It’s been more than 5 years, I am working in the online marketing industry. After coming back from Mumbai I started my own Virtual Digital Agency.  It doesn’t have a physical location and I don’t need one since we are a small group of freelancers.

Although I’m not sure how long I can keep doing this; it’s sort of starting to feel like the corporate job that I hated. Honestly, I find it very hectic to deal with the clients, chasing for payments, not being able to work on my own terms.

I feel it’s just not worth it; especially being an introvert it’s definitely not easy for me.

So, again, I’m on the lookout for a way out of this rut.

Anyways, I started my career in this field as an “SEO Executive” at a Startup and ended my corporate journey as the “Operation Lead – Digital Marketing” at another Startup.

During that short period, I have had the opportunity to work with many small to medium scale businesses.

The best thing about working in a Startup was since there were not many people, I got to work in almost all the verticals of Digital Marketing.

I learned many new things about digital marketing, tried different tools, kind of had mastered Facebook Business and  Google Ads.

And as a bonus I have also advanced my skills in WordPress; now I can design a WordPress site without any issue. In fact, I have designed a few for my clients already.

The bottom line is now I am sort of an all-rounder Digital Marketer who can design WordPress websites and also blogs.

Feels Awesome! :O

When I am not on the computer, I like to travel and trek mountains.

Here’s a snap from my trek to Irshalgad, in Maharashtra.

I also like to sing and love a lot to motivate people to live tension-free life.

My one and only life’s motto is “Don’t worry about the things you can’t control and don’t be miserable for the things you can”.

MY MISSION

Being an experienced Online Marketer & Blogger (not an expert though), I want to pass on my knowledge & experiences to the newbies who would not mind some learning to take their first steps in the blogging (mostly) and online marketing industry, and literally, anyone who would want to learn how to make money online.

My mission is to teach at least 10000 people, How to live a boss-free life and make a living on the internet?

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS BLOG?

Tips:

  • on how to start a blog and keep on blogging.
  • on how to make the right use of online marketing to get your brand noticed; in your case, that would be your blog.
  • on how to make money online from your blog and some other ways.

Case Studies:

Motivation:

  • to not squeeze yourself too hard with the unnecessary expectations of life.
  • to eliminate the pressure and to keep doing what you love.

It’s very easy to start a blog but not easy to keep blogging for a long long time, if not forever unless you give your 99% and add it up with the 1% I have to provide.

Why only 1%?

Because, I can only show you what to do and in some cases how to do it, but it’s gonna be always you only who would have to take action.

There’s no other way but to work hard for what you want because it won’t come to you without a fight. You have to be strong and courageous and know that you can do anything you put your mind to. If somebody puts you down or criticizes you, just keep on believing in yourself and turn it into something positive.Leah LaBelle

So, stay put with your goal and don’t ever give up.

And if you ever find it tough to get going, drop me an email at jeet@bloggingventure.com; I would love to give you a push.

Cheers! and keep smiling 🙂 you may not know but it has the power to make everything happy.

  1. Hi there! It’s the first time I came to your site as google recommended your content in response to my search about blogging. I started with reading one post and then kept on reading for hours before coming to these page. Honestly, your content is so helpful even for newbies like me that I felt obliged to write to you. I have been thinking about staring a blog for few weeks but was very confused with all those terminologies and processes. You made it look so easy that I am now confident enough to start to build one in a month. Since I’m a biologist, in my final year of Masters degree, I am thinking of starting a blog on personal and heath care where I wanna write contents with proper research references and science behind why things happen. It will be helpful if you give a comment on that and provide some tips that will help and motivate me. Thank you!!

  3. Hi Biswajeet,

Thanks for the guidance… Just let me know, if I can start a blog with bengali detective and horror stories …. Is that will be suitable for making money ?

    • Hi Santanu,

Yes, of course, you can. However, the scope is less.

I am not sure what sort of affiliate products are available in a niche like detective and horror stories; probably books and movies I guess (you can try the Amazon affiliates program).

You can use PPC programs like Adsense to monetize your content. You can create your own products also (e.g. books).

Don’t worry about the money. If you’re passionate about this niche then just go with it. One way or another money will find you.

      Good Luck!

Thanks a lot for the appreciation. Really means a lot. I now feel more confident that I am not wasting my time.

I am not that active with the blog, because of my job and some other stuff. Although, I am trying to sort things out very soon. And hopefully, I would actually start to provide the value I genuinely mean to.

Thanks once again, you just made my day.
